How many claims have you paid where you knew there was some element of fraud but couldn't prove it?
Did the house catch fire by accident or did it have a little help? This quarter’s Pulse Poll shows that while 25% of survey respondents believe that less than 5% of claims had some element of unprovable fraud, 34% of responders believe that 25% or more are getting away with undeserved claims. Fortunately, with new technology and carriers upping their game, fraud investigators are more successful at uncovering fraud every day. How is your fraud program coming along?
